In addition to its numerous uses in the kitchen, cider vinegar has proven to be a valuable ally in daily body care. After just a few trials, you will be convinced of its merits. Soon, cider vinegar will grace the shelves of your medicine cabinet. Here are a few timeless recipes that illustrate how Ancestral vinegar can help you.


Tired feet: Let feet soak in a tub filled with 4 inches (10 cm) of water and ½ cup of Ancestral vinegar.

Hair color: To restore the richness of original color, mix, in a glass of water, 4 tsp. of Ancestral vinegar, 4 tsp. of molasses, 4 tsp. of honey and pour onto hair. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse.

Hair rinse: ½ tbsp. of Ancestral vinegar in 2 cups hot water.

To reduce appetite: 1 tbsp. of Ancestral vinegar in 1 glass of hot water.

Insect bites: Apply a few drops of Ancestral vinegar directly to the bite.

Dirty hands: Wash with laundry detergent diluted in Ancestral vinegar.

Perms: 1 tbsp. of Ancestral vinegar in 2 cups of hot water. Use during rinse.

Skin cleanser: Crush 3 strawberries in ¼ cup of Ancestral vinegar. Let stand 2 hours. -Soak in a cloth and rub over the body and neck before bed.

Corns: Apply a compress made from stale bread dipped in Ancestral vinegar.

Age spots: Rub with 1 tsp. of onion juice and 2 tsp. of Ancestral vinegar.

Itching: Apply a paste made from cornstarch and Ancestral vinegar.

Hiccups: Slowly sip 1 glass of hot water containing 1 tsp. of Ancestral vinegar.

Cramps: Drink 1 glass of water mixed with 1 tsp. of Ancestral vinegar at bedtime.

Flatulence: Slowly drink 1 glass of hot water mixed with 1 tbsp. of Ancestral vinegar and 1 tsp. of honey.

Aching muscles: Surround the affected area with gauze soaked in Ancestral vinegar, 3 to 5 minutes, a few times a day.

Minor burns: Apply Ancestral vinegar.

Underarms: Wash with Ancestral vinegar to eliminate odor.

Haemorrhoids: Apply a cloth soaked in Ancestral vinegar for a few minutes.
